Disability Services - Suicide Prevention

The Campus Suicide Prevention Project is grant funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This project is responsible for the implementation of a college wide infrastructure that promotes education and awareness while incorporating the philosophy that it is everyone's responsibility to be knowledgeable on suicide awareness. CF students, faculty, staff, and family members will learn the signs and symptoms of suicide through classroom-based instruction, a series of seminars/workshops, and guest speakers. These venues will provide information on available resources and strategies for helping those dealing with a suicidal situation.
